In the US (at least), March is (among other things), Endometriosis Awareness Month. In honor of this — and to, you know, raise awareness and stuff — I will be posting a series of endometriosis-related facts. I’ll try to do one per day, but as it’s already March 2, we’ll see how my record turns out on this.
To start things off, via endometriosis.org, endo affects an estimated 176 million people worldwide.
For such a common condition, I’m always surprised that so many people I talk to have no idea about what it is.
